Athletics Canada 2016 XC Championships | the moment is captured photography

Canadian XC Championships Awards for 2016.

I was honoured to be called up by Athletics Canada to shoot this prestigious race event, showcasing some of Canada’s top running talents. Notable participants were Sasha Gollish, Rachel Hannah, Ross Proudfoot along with up-and-comers Trevor Hofbauer and Brogan MacDougall to name a few. The weather was terrific and the field was very fast. Turnout for this year’s event was excellent both in the race registrations and spectators.

I separated the races into individual galleries. Lots of hustle to capture each race at different points and to show how each race unfolded often with different runners taking (and losing) the lead. Each race’s gallery unfolds the drama of the race in stills.
