The Howe Island Hustle has comfortably established itself as the little race that could. With a consistent +/- 100 running participants (plus a kids race enjoying 20-ish runners), the Hustle kicks off the annual Tri-Island Series. Call it a cool-down from the Limestone Race Weekend or dress rehearsal for the upcoming Beat Beethoven, The Hustle is a nice family event complete with barbeque lunch and some cold suds to wash it down, courtesy of sponsor Steam Whistle Brewery.
The Howe Island Hustle brings a nice diversity of runners. The first to cross the finish line are very respectively fast. Queen’s running coach Steve Boyd clobbered it this year with an amazing time (did we mention he is in the 50-59 age category?). Race results here on runningbydesign.com
