The final match of the Championship was QC Sporting Montréal FC vs Toronto Idolo Futsal. This game was intense. The ferocity of both teams was fueled by a raucous crowd (which nearly came to blows requiring University security to tighten). Regulation time ended in a tie. It was followed by five minutes more on the clock, but no score resulted. Another five minutes was played and both teams each added a goal. This resulted in a best-of-three shoot-out. Every shot that was on target rocketed past the keeper. Unfortunately for Quebec, one of three shots went wide and Ontario took the Cup.
